Police question 4 men
Director CID, SSP Waisea Vakamocea, has confirmed that the two were arrested last night and are currently being questioned.
SSP Vakamocea has also confirmed that police have managed to recover all the jewellery that was stolen during the brutal murder.
It is alleged that the four men attacked Narend Prasad while he was closing his shop around 9pm and demanded for both the shop and house keys. When Prasad refused to the keys to them, the robbers tied his hands and legs with raffia and threw him in a nearby drain.
The group then went to Prasad's house and robbed the family members of cash and other items.
According to police, the robbers attacked Prasad with an iron rod which resulted in him getting serious head injuries.
The robbers fled in the family's rental car which was later found abandoned in a settlement in Ba.
Police are awaiting post-mortem report before laying any charges.
