Police are investigating a case where a 46 year old man drowned at the Lautoka Wharf yesterday.
Assistant Police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the man was fishing with his friends when he suddenly fell in the sea and drowned. His body was found late yesterday.
Police are awaiting the post mortem results.
The drowning toll has now increased to 27 compared to 34 for the same period last year.
