In an effort to maintain fitness and ensure better coordination between the police and prisons officers, the Commissioner of Police took senior officers from the two institutions for an early morning walk, up to the hills of Naboro Prison complex this morning.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri who was also a part of the exercise, said it is the commissioner’s intent to create a better relationship between the two forces.
The exercise started at 5.30 this morning and they covered 4.5 kilometers of the trek after which both the institutions presented their 24-hour operations brief to the Commissioner.
