Police are currently in search of three unknown youths who entered a 57 year old farmer's house at Tacirua heights last night, threatened the occupants and demanded cash.
They later fled the scene with $2000 and electronic items worth about $1,300.
Police PRO, ASP Ulaiasi Ravula has confirmed the theft adding that a police patrol and a police dog personnel attended to the report.
Police Investigations are underway.
In a separate case, six unknown youths early yesterday, armed with a pinch bar, threatened a 35yr old watchman of Fortech Construction at Bhindi Subdivision and stole $45, a mobile phone from the watchman before stealing electronic items worth over $8,000 from the company office.
Police investigations are continuing.
