Police are now in the process of gathering evidence against those senior officers who are allegedly operating businesses.
Assistant Police Commissioner, Ethical Standards, Jese Marovia told Village News this morning that the file is still open.
Marovia said some officers have businesses which are under the names of their spouses and children. Police are trying to determine the role these officers play in the daily running of the businesses.
According to Marovia, the matter will be referred to the Police Tribunal soon who will then decide on the actions to be taken against these officers.
