Police have set up road blocks around the Central division to apprehend the seven prisoners who escaped from the holding cell at the Suva Court House yesterday afternoon.
Police Spokesperson, Fred Elbourne said an update will be provided later this morning.
Lomani Tamani, Jone Di, Filipe Delana, Eparama Mani, Kilioni Vatutaqiri, Sunia Raroqio and Sefania Turagadamudamu escaped from the holding cell after cutting open the grill.
All seven fled in a black LPG Taxi, registration LT 5118.
Police are appealing to the members of public who have any information on the whereabouts of these seven to contact their nearest Police Station or Police Community Post.
