The Police in Suva have increased their presence around the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) head office and will still be providing security in days to come since last night after the Digicel Fiji 7s team bowed out of the RWC quarter finals to Kenya.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita confirmed Police Officers are patrolling the area as a precautionary measure.

This follows the incident last month where threatening calls and text messages were sent to senior executives of the Fiji Rugby Union.
