Police are still trying to locate the boxing promoter whose vehicle was allegedly used for the delivery of marijuana leaves on Saturday.
Officer-In-Charge Drugs, ASP Sakeo Ganivatu confirms a team of Police Officers are investigating the case and the boxing promoter is expected to be taken in today for questioning.
Ganivatu said the driver of the vehicle remains in police custody and they are trying to establish where the marijuana leaves were allegedly being delivered to.
Police confirmed yesterday the vehicle was stopped at Yalavou road, in Navosa by a Police team on Saturday afternoon and upon searching Police found $4000 worth of marijuana leaves under the back seat of the vehicle.
