Police are looking for unknown people who broke into the Narere Shiu Temple last night.
Thieves gained entry after smashing the concrete block at the back of the temple.
According to temple executives, thieves opened the cupboard and threw all the holy books on the floor.
Police suspect that the thieves were looking for money, however no money was not kept inside the temple.
