Police are seeking help from members of the public in locating some unknown men who broke into the Ram Jattan and Sons Supermarket in Suva last night.

Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the thieves managed to take more than $70,000 after they cut open the safe.

The supermarket is located opposite the Suva Bus Stand.

Branch Manager, Rajnesh Prasad said when he opened his office this morning he saw the safe lying open on the floor.

Meanwhile, Police are still interrogating a man in relation to the robbery at the Western Union office in Suva last week.

According to Inspector Sokomuri the hunt continues for the other three men.

Four masked men armed with beer bottles and cane knives entered the Western Union office last Thursday and walked away with $20,000 cash after threatening the cashier.
