Police are looking for a man who allegedly raped a girl after promising her that he will arrange a visa for her.
Assistant Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the man met the 18 year old in Suva City and after a conversation the man told the girl that he can arrange a visa for her.
It is alleged that the man told the victim that he has to interview her first and took her to a motel in Suva where he allegedly threatened and rape her.
He is on the run after the incident. Police have called on members of the public not to trust any strangers and not to accompany them anywhere.
