Police have laid charges on one of the suspects who was taken into custody on Wednesday night in relation to three robberies earlier this week.

Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirms that the charges were laid last night and the 40 year old has been charged with two counts of robbery with violence and one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle.

It is alleged that he was involved in the New World Narere robbery as well as the Pravins Kava shop and Moti street robbery.

He is expected to appear in Nasinu Court this afternoon.
