Police are keeping an eye on all the Billiards shops in the Central Division to maintain law and order.
The Police Public Relations Officer Ema Mua said that they have no authority over the opening hours, however their officers are always patrolling to see that law is in place.
Meanwhile, the Suva City Council has revealed that all billiard shops around the Suva area have to close at 5pm or face the suspension of their operating licenses.
Some Billiard shops are still open until after 7pm daily.
