Police are investigating a stoning incident in Delaitomuka, Lautoka where internet café owner, Rajneel Singh's residence was also targeted.
Singh had revealed last month that he had seen emails on a computer detailing plans to assassinate government ministers in parliament.
He had also made claims of alleged police brutality.
Acting Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says the stoning incident occurred during the power outage on Sunday night.
Qiliho says they are also continuing with their investigation in relation to a fire bomb that was thrown at Singh's home earlier this month.
