Labasa Police are expected to start questioning some people soon in relation to the death of a man who was allegedly assaulted in a nightclub on Friday night.
Police at this stage are trying to gather more evidence regarding the incident and are also awaiting the postmortem examination of the deceased which is expected to be conducted tomorrow.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri had earlier confirmed today that they are treating the case as murder.
The man was found unconscious a few metres away from the nightclub
yesterday morning.
He was than admitted in a serious condition at the Labasa hospital and he died this morning.
