A team of Police Officers in Taveuni are conducting investigation on the alleged drunk and disorderly behaviour of 8 nurses and a man who were found making unnecessary noises.

Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni said complaints were filed by the members of the public that uncontrolled noise was coming from the government quarters.

According to the Police reports, a call came from an outsider that an intruder was seen within the Taveuni Female Nurses compound.

A police team visited the site to investigate the report and they were warned not to use the site as a strike place as it would result in a police vehicle taking them to the police station.

According to Commodore Teleni, a full investigation report will be sent soon.

However the nurses are denying the police claims.
