Police investigate death of taxi driver
Senior Crime Officers are at the scene trying to gather evidence on what transpired which led to the death of the taxi driver.
Other details of this case are still sketchy at the moment.
Meanwhile, Labasa Police are investigating the death of a 22 year old canecutter of Labasa who died, after he went to tie his bullocks on his farm yesterday.
Police confirm the man from Lagalaga, Labasa, returned from cutting cane yesterday morning and informed his mother that he was going to tend to his bullocks.
His body was eventually found lying entangled in the bullock's rope. Some injuries were also found on his body. A Post Mortem expected to be conducted on Monday. Police believe he was mowed down by the bullocks.
In Nadi...Police are trying to determine the cause of death of a 24 year old woman of Tunalia, Nadi whose body was found floating in a creek on Thursday night. The deceased was alone at home and her husband was in their farm. Upon returning he found the deceased missing and conducted the search and later found the deceased floating in the nearby creek.
