Police are awaiting the post mortem report of a 4 day old baby who died after his mother breastfed him.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White said the 18 year old mother breast fed the baby and left him on the bed.
After a while she discovered the baby having difficulty in breathing and was rushed to the Korovou hospital where he was pronounced dead.
ASP White has called on mothers to ensure that their child burp after breastfeeding.
