Police are currently investigating the death of a 12-year-old boy in Navakai, Nadi.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says it is an alleged suicide case.
The boy’s body was found outside the house in Navakai.
He was from Yasawa and was staying with another family in Nadi.
The post mortem will be conducted soon.
The suicide statistics in the country continues to be a major concern.
51 people have committed suicide so far this year compared to 61 for the same period last year while there are 72 cases of attempted suicide this year compared to 65 for the same period last year.
