Police are investigating the death of a 22 year old canecutter of Labasa who died, after he went to tie his bullocks on his farm yesterday.

Labasa Police confirm the man from Lagalaga, Labasa, returned from cutting cane yesterday morning and informed his mother that he was going to tend to his bullocks.

When he failed to return home, a search was conducted by family members.

His body was eventually found lying entangled in the bullock's rope. Some injuries were also found on his body.

Police are waiting for a post mortem to be conducted on Monday.
