Police in Vatukoula are investigating the death of a 4 year old boy who died after an outboard engine fell on him.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the deceased was discovered trapped under the engine by a 28 year old fellow villager.
According to police the parents of the deceased were watching TV at the time of the incident.
Police are awaiting the post mortem report.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a house in Navosa yesterday.
The building belonged to the Ministry of Health and together with the building 70 bags of cement were also destroyed.
The estimated damage is $20,000.
Police are calling for information.
