Police are currently investigating an incident whereby a four-year-old child died at the Labasa Hospital yesterday after he sustained burns.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the boy's mother was carrying a pot with hot liquid when it spilt on him.
The incident happened in Seaqaqa.
