Police are investigating an incident where a 5 week old baby of Tunuloa, Savusavu, died after being breastfed and left alone by the mother.
Divisional Crime Officer North ASP Luke Rawalai confirmed that the baby's mother left the baby boy after breastfeeding him and went to hang clothes and found the baby dead upon her return.
ASP Rawalai said the post mortem will be conducted tomorrow to determine the cause of the baby's death who is said to have been a healthy baby.
