Police are investigating two separate alleged rape cases that happened over the weekend.
In the first incident, Nadi Police are looking for a man who is alleged to have raped a 30 year old housewife of Marasa, Nadi on early Sunday morning.
The victim was sleeping at home with her 7 year old son when the suspect forcibly entered the house and raped her. Police are now looking for the suspect.
In another case, Nausori Police are looking for a man who attempted to rape a 16 year old student at Manoca, Nausori on early Sunday morning.
The victim was on her way home to Vunivivi with her two friends when the suspect, who followed them from Nausori, confronted them.
The suspect allegedly assaulted the suspect and carried her to a nearby bush. The victims friend raised the alarm which made the suspect to run away.
