Police investigate alleged rape
Regional Crime Officer Western, SP Luke Rawalai said a 19 year old waitress was allegedly raped in Lautoka at around 3 o'clock this morning.
She was returning home after a party in Nadi when was approached by two men aged 20 and 42 years.
It is alleged the two then took her to a vacant house in Lautoka and allegedly raped her.
The two suspects are in police custody.
In another incident a 19 year old tertiary school student is being investigated for allegedly defiling a 13 year old student in Lautoka.
The matter was reported to police by the victim's mother.
He is expected to be charged soon.
Meanwhile, a 32 year old salesman of Lautoka is under investigation for allegedly indecently assaulting a 11 year old girl and a 26 year old woman while they were shopping in a supermarket in Lautoka.
The salesman is an employee of the supermarket and is in custody.
