Police are now investigating a case regarding a Year 10 student of a prominent school in the western division being allegedly assaulted by other students in the school.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms that a report was lodged at the Lautoka Police station yesterday.
The family has told Fijivillage that the student who is a prefect in his school went to stop an argument and he was allegedly bashed up by a group of students.
This happened in the school yesterday afternoon.
The student had to be taken to hospital as he received facial injuries.
