Police are now investigating one of their own senior officers after he allegedly made racist and derogatory comments to a constable.
Fijivillage has been informed that the incident occurred at the Totogo Police Station in Suva.
When contacted, Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that a complaint was lodged against a senior officer and all will be investigated as required.
The matter will then be taken up to the Police Commissioner who will make the final decision.
Naisoro said the complaint relates to alleged misconduct by the senior officer.
