Police have this afternoon revealed that the body which was discovered in a mangrove swamp in Wailada, Lami yesterday afternoon is that of a 61 year old man who has been missing from home since Sunday.

Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms the man was today identified, adding that he died of natural death however they are awaiting the post moterm report.

The body was discovered by two men who were passing by the mangroves.

Meanwhile, Police are also looking into the death a 34 year old man of Valley Road, Sigatoka who died yesterday afternoon after he was trapped under the tractor he was driving.

The farmer was on his way to his farm with his wife in their tractor when he lost control near a slope.

As a result the tractor tumbled and the couple was trapped under the tractor.

The farmer died instantly while his wife is in critical condition at the Sigatoka hospital.
