Police are now hunting for a group of men who robbed the Owner of Sardaar Trading's house in Bureau St off Grantham Rd, early this morning.

Police confirms the robbery happened at 2.30 this morning.

Robbers managed to take large sum of cash and jewellery with them, however the total value of robbery is not known at this stage.

A nearby tenant in the street, Seema Devi said the son of the owner sustained several injuries and was taken to Suva Private Hospital after he was bashed up by the robbers with pinch bars.

Police is now appealing for information from public to track down these robbers.
