Police are hunting for a group of men who were involved two separate robberies in Suva yesterday.

Divisional Crime Officer Southern SP Apisalome Tuiwakaya confirms four masked men armed with cane knives and beer bottles stormed into the Capricorn hotel in Saint Fort Street in Suva at about 10am yesterday and managed to take $6000 cash.

The four used a stolen white private car which had a fake registration FD 696.

Later in the afternoon four masked men who were also armed with cane knives and beer bottles went inside the Hyundai Motor parts centre at Grantham road and managed to take cash and cheques totaling $38,000.

The four fled in a white minivan. No one was injured during the incident.
