Police hunt for robbers
Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said the office was securely locked when thieves forcibly entered the office and stole computers, a digital camera, hard drives, printer and other office equipment to a total value of $15,000.
Meanwhile, Officers from the Strike Back team and Central Police Stations are still hunting for six men who were involved in a daylight robbery at the Motibhai Company in Walu Bay on Saturday.
According to police the getaway vehicle is still missing and police suspect a fake number plate was fitted.
About six masked men came in a vehicle, parked in front of the shop, stormed in with cane knives and iron rods, threatened and assaulted three staff before getting away with $24,000 cash and some other items including cheques.
Three staffs were also robbed of their wallets and mobile phones.
Police are calling on members of the public for any information about the two robberies.
