Police are hunting for the person who hacked a Year 10 student to death in Naria, Rakiraki yesterday afternoon.
The female student passed away yesterday and her father who was also stabbed by the same man is in hospital.
Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says they have the identity of the man who attacked the girl and her father.
Sokomuri says the incident occurred when the student got off the school bus.
The student and her father were rushed to hospital however she was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
