Nadi Police are hunting for two unknown men who broke into Ed’s Bar in Martintar this morning and managed to take cash and items worth $24,607.
Police confirm that at around 3.30 this morning the two managed to cut the padlock, broke the front glass and walked away with a safe which contained $22,887 cash and telecards worth $1,219.
Police say the two got away in a taxi, but they do not have the registration of the vehicle.
Police are appealing for information.
