Police are hunting for four men who robbed a 49 year old businessman of Legalega Nadi off $1,300 Fijian dollars, $850 Australia dollars, jewellery and other items including bales of grog to a total value of more than $6,000.
The victim, his 39 year old wife and their two children were asleep in their home when they were confronted by robbers armed with cane knives and pinch bars.
The robbers than locked the family members in a room while they ransacked the house.
The robbers fled in the family vehicle, a Brown Toyota Hiace registration EV 355 which is yet to be recovered. Businessman received injuries during the attack.
