The Fiji Police Force now hopes to achieve better results in combating crime through its new office based in Vodafone Triangle, Suva which will house the Community Policing centre.
Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni while officially opening the office today reminded the officers who will be based at the centre that a lot of work has to be done in the various communities to win the trust of the ordinary citizen.
The Community policing centre will also accommodate Tourist Police section and the Police Juvenile centre.
