Ba police are questioning two Canadian nationals in relation to the alleged circulation of fake $100 notes in the Ba areas.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two were arrested after a tip off after Police in Ba were receiving reports of fake $100 Canadian notes being received by banks and shop owners for the past three weeks.
A bank officer tipped off police yesterday after he received a fake $100 bill.
Police allegedly confiscated four $100 fake Canadian notes from the two who came to Fiji on a tourist visa.
Investigations continue.
