The hunt continues for the unknown men who allegedly stabbed a Lautoka businessman on Tuesday which led to his death.
Lautoka Police have confirmed that they are treating the case as murder and are working on some leads.
Armed robbers broke into his house in the early hours of Tuesday morning, assaulted the security guard on duty before attacking the businessman.
In the process, the businessman was stabbed by one of the robbers and was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
The victim was operating a beach-de-mer export business in Fiji for the last 12 years and it is understood that the robbers wanted to gain access to the bulk store.
