Police are now following on some leads in relation to the robberies at New World Supermarket and Pravins Kava shop this week.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the getaway vehicle that was used at the New World robbery in Narere was found abandoned at Mandir Street, Nakasi yesterday.
The Honda CRV registration EZ 172 was stolen hours before the robbery from Moti street.
Sergeant Tevita also said that the car stereo and some tools were missing from the vehicle.
He added police officers are still trying to establish whether the same group was involved in the robbery at the New World Supermarket in Narere on Monday morning where more than $29,000 cash was stolen.
