The Police 15s rugby team is out to end their 10 year losing streak in the Escott Shield when they take on Navy in the semifinal of the Suva Rugby Union competition this afternoon.
Laced with the services of national reps and those who have joined the side from other provinces, they will start as favourites against the Navy team.
Former Nadroga inside centre Jonetani Ratu will lead the side which also has Samu Bola, Koki Vuicuvu, Dan Ligairi and former 7s rep Sailosi Rabo in their lineup.
They will be up against a Navy team which also is trying to win the 98 year old rugby prize for the first time.
They have the likes of Alefoso Yalayalatabua and Epeli Ruivadra in the side which now owns the Skaff Works trophy in the capital city club competition.
The Police and Navy semifinal kicks-off at 7pm at the TFL Stadium.
