Police are expected to arrest murder suspect Simon Macartney today and charge him again, with the alleged murder of his wife, 26 year old Ashika Lata McCartney.
A senior police officer told Village news that a group of police officers are trying to locate Macartney after they gathered more evidence on the murder case.
He said Macartney is also barred from leaving the country until the investigations against him are complete.
Meanwhile, the DPPs's office confirm that while a nolle prosecui was filed in the Simon Macartney case, allowing Macartney to walk out of court a free man, as in all other cases, this also means that Macartney can be charged again should further evidence be found in the case.
Macartney walked out of court a free man on Tuesday after Magistrate John Semisi denied an adjournment sort by Police Prosecution, Bhawani Prasad because investigations were incomplete.
