Police have raised concern on the number of fake notes circulating in the country.
Police Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said Police have discovered $20, $50 and $100 dollar bills which have the same serial numbers.
Police also discovered ten $50 fake bills and these bills were tendered in busy places such as bread shops supermarkets and some were even given to taxi drivers during the night time when drivers were not able to differentiate between the notes.
Sokomuri also said that a team of CID officers are now investigating the discovery of the fake notes to apprehend those involved in the circulation of the fake bills.
