The Fiji Police Force has defended their use of international rugby players in their Police Crusade saying that they came voluntarily.
Police spokeswoman Ema Mua said these players volunteered and the Force is happy with the players interest as this would be a way to discourage youths from engaging in crime.
Mua added that all the funds used for the Police Crusades have been accounted for and falls under their Community Policing set aside by government.
International players like speedster Rupeni Caucau, Ro Alifereti Doviverata, Filimoni Delasau and Sireli Bobo will take part in the Ruggers for Jesus Crusade next month.
