Police are continuing to question the 26-year-old driver who is alleged to have caused the accident, which claimed the life of a 39-year-old woman at Laucala Beach Estate early Saturday morning.

According to Police no charges have been laid yet as they await a report from the Investigating officer, on the post mortem that was done today.

Three of the four passengers have been discharged from the CWM hospital with one still admitted.

According to police the 39-year-old woman of Brisbane, Australia was driving towards Nadera when her vehicle was allegedly hit at the Ratu Dovi Rd junction, by the vehicle driven by the 26-year-old.

The 39-year-old driver and her passengers were all conveyed to the CWM Hospital where the driver was pronounced dead on arrival.

Meanwhile the road death toll currently stands at 14 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
