The transportation of marijuana leaves from Navosa has not stopped despite numerous raids conducted by Police over the last few months.

A 30 old man was stopped in Navosa yesterday who was allegedly on his way to Suva to deliver dried leaves believed to be marijuana worth over $2,500.

Officer In Chrage Drugs Sakeo Ganivatu said they are continuing to clamp down on marijuana dealers and people should not take this lightly as they can get themselves in a major problem if are found in possession of drugs.

Meanwhile, the Police Drug Unit raided a farm in a village in Rewa and uprooted Marijuana plants worth more than $70,000.

Police are still looking for the farmer who is believed to be evading Police after the raid.

The Marijuana plants have been sent to Koronivia for analysis.
