The Police rugby side is confident that they will defend their Escott Shield title when they take on Fiji Bitter NFA in the Suva Rugby Union weekly club competition final this weekend.
Despite a close 14-10 victory over Army last week, coach Solomoni Lotu said they are optimistic of defending their title.
Lotu added that they will have to improve their set pieces as NFA have more quality and experienced players that are playing provincial rugby for Suva.
Police will be boosted by seasonal campaigners like Tikiko Uluiviti, Maciu Vakaruru, Keponi Paul, Joeli Nabogikolo, Sireli Kaloucava and Enele Malele.
Police will take on Fiji Bitter NFA in the final of the Escott Shield at 7.30pm on Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
