The post mortem of 66 yr old man whose body was found floating in the Wainikoro river yesterday afternoon, was conducted this morning.
Divisional Crime Officer Northern, ASP Luke Rawalai said that his death was caused by drowning.
The man went missing from his home two days ago and neighbours found his body in the river yesterday.
Police have not ruled out foul play as yet.
