Police have called on motorists and pedestrians to assist them in clamping down on careless drivers.
Director Traffic SP, Mahesh Mishra said people can report to their nearest police station if they have any complaints against any motorists or pedestrians.
Meanwhile, police statistics reveal that between January this year till to date, police have booked 18,290 drivers for speeding, 1,935 drivers for not wearing seat belts, 2,807 for careless driving, 18,040 for illegal operations and other offences, for drink and drive police have charged 868 drivers as police have a no drop policy on this offence.
