Police have charged two teenagers who are alleged to have been involved in the brutal killing of 66 year old Tavua shop owner, Narend Prasad on Friday night.

Divisional Crime Officer Western, ASP Waisea Kadawa confirms the two have been charged with murder, robbery with violence and unlawful use of motor vehicle.

Kandawa said the two appeared in a special court seating yesterday afternoon and have been remanded in custody.

Kadawa has also confirmed they are looking for one other suspect who is believed to have been in the same group when the alleged incident took place.

Two other suspects, who are in their early 20's still remain in custody and are expected to be charged later.

Meanwhile, the post mortem report of Prasad shows that he died of severe concussion to his brain. The four are alleged to have attacked Prasad with an iron rod and tied him up before throwing him in a drain.
