Police have charged a 15 year old boy from Kadavu for allegedly raping a class three student earlier this month.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita confirms that the 15 year old was arrested on Saturday and was later charged.
He was later released and will now appear in the Kadavu court on Friday.
The 15 year old boy who is related to the girl is alleged to have raped her in a bush when they were picking fruits on the 9th of this month.
