With people travelling to the Central Division to visit their relatives and to cheer for their team in the Fiji Fact, police have booked drivers and taken drivers into custody for being drunk and driving.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said even though there were no major accidents this long weekend, police booked 600 drivers and took 12 drivers into custody for drinking and driving.
Mishra also said there is a need for people including drivers and pedestrians to change their attitudes while using roads.
